What is Cassini?

The Cassini Business Accelerator is a European Commission initiative designed to support high-potential space companies in scaling their technology and accelerating their commercial journey.

Why we participate in Cassini?

At MadridSpace, we noticed early on that traditional thermal management solutions simply cannot keep up with the demands of modern payloads.

That is how THEAMS was born: a thermo-structural frame with embedded heat pipes made by additive manufacture what makes it lighter, thermally more capable, and structurally optimised, than it´s traditional counterparts.

With THEAMS currently at TRL5, we had the technology. What we needed was the commercial foundation to scale it. Cassini was the natural next step, a programme built precisely to provide mentoring, investor access, and a framework to turn a proven concept into a commercially viable product.

What's next for THEAMS?

The roadmap ahead is ambitious. Through the Cassini programme, our immediate priority is to advance THEAMS to higher TRL levels, validating the technology under representative space conditions and building the industrial base that customers and partners need to commit.

But for us this is just the beginning. The core architecture of THEAMS (additive manufacturing, embedded heatpipes, topology-optimised) is a platform, not a single product. One that scales naturally across satellite classes, power ranges, and mission profiles.
