Grants
PIMAP4Sustainability
PIMAP4Sustainability programme, aimed at promoting sustainability-driven innovation and the adoption of advanced technologies aligned with environmental and efficiency objectives.
Programa de Jóvenes Investigadores & Ayuda para el fomento de la contratación joven
Programa de Jovenes Investigadores provides subsidies to support the hiring of young researches in R&D&I roles at public and private entities, universities and tech centers, aiming to boos research careers and innovation capacity . Also, the Comunity of Madrid gives a youth hiring incentive that provides direct subsidies to employers for hiring young workers.
Programa Tecnológico Espacial (PTE)
MIPRO-CIEN, funded by Spain’s PTE, is a consortium project with Solar MEMS, Madrid Space & Need Tech, supported by research centers including AICIA (University of Seville), advancing MEMS-based micropropulsion for intelligent nanosatellite control.
SPARK FUNDING- European Space Agency
Madrid Space has leveraged Spark Funding to spin in our THEAMS technology, originally developed for space applications, into avionics, enhancing thermal management and system reliability for aerospace platforms.
Digital Innovation Hubs (PADIH)
Madrid Space has participated in the PADIH programme, developing a proof of concept to foster digital innovation through advanced manufacturing enabled by multiphysics modelling and simulation, focused on propulsion systems and re-entry phenomena. The project validated a coupled computational methodology integrating fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and structural mechanics for solid rocket motor simulation.
LEVIATAD - European Union
Madrid Space is contributing to the LEVIATAD project, co-funded by the European Union and the LEVIATAD Consortium, with our innovative TEPNEE technology (Thermally Enhanced Performance of Naval Electronic Equipment), advancing thermal and structural solutions for subsea electronics and naval defence.
Innovative SME seal
Madrid Space has been awarded the Innovative SME seal by the Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades, recognizing our commitment to R&D and innovation in the aerospace industry.
ICEX NEXT
Spanish internationalization supporgt program for SMEs and startups.
Industrial PhD
In collaboration with the UC3M, Madrid Space’s team has carried out a PhD in Fluid Mechanics, developing advanced two faced devices for advanced thermal control.
ESA Business Incubation Centre Madrid Region
Madrid Space has received the support from ESA to develop their products via incubation in the ESA BIC Programme.
RIS3 Estrategia Regional de Investigación e Innovación (L2 & L3)
Through the Regional Research and Innovation Strategy (RIS3) for the period 2014-2020 & 2021- 2027, the Community of Madrid has provided institutional support to startups like Madrid Space that operate in priority technology areas identified by the strategy.
The project nº 49/287369.9/19 with acronym “Porous3DHeatPipes” has been awarded within the RIS 3 program, Grants for young innovative technology-based companies (start-ups) and high-intensity innovative SMEs from the Ministry of Science, Universities and Innovation of the Autonomous Community of Madrid.
GALACTICA Orbital Call
